Bad Boy Bachelor Christmas

Bad Boy Bachelor Christmas

My review:

“Bad Boy Bachelor Christmas” is one of the most enjoyable Christmas themed novels I’ve ever read, and I’ve read a lot of them! It’s a workplace, sunshine heroine – grumpy hero, age-gap romance with memorable characters and the story that grabs your heart and holds on tight.

Winter is a young interior designer with a bit more to go of her graduate school plans. At her counselor’s behest, she accepts a month-long internship over winter break. It’s for a long-established Christmas tree company who provides fresh trees for regular people and for huge, legendary organizations. It certainly not a job she ever would’ve thought of as needing a designer. North is the growly owner of the company. He’s huge and handsome, and as it turns out, he has a very good reason for his grumpy attitude. I’m not going to tell you what it is, because I think the plot is best appreciated the way the authors revealed everything. Be warned that you might need a tissue and whatever your favorite comforting beverage happens to be. Winter’s sunshine thaws the coldness of North, and everybody benefits.

I thought the lead characters were more than likable, they drew you in very effectively. The secondary characters were varied, but consistently interesting and entertaining. There were so many settings that were vividly described in ways that let you truly “see” them in your mind’s eye. Sometimes you can even smell the aromas of Christmas and feel the chill in the air. The emotions of both Winter and North were so real, even though they fall fast for one another. I thought the ending was perfect! This is a story to read again.
