Billionaires Christmas List

Billionaires Christmas List
by Sophie Brooks

My review:

Who is the hardest person to shop for at Christmas? For many people it’s their Mom, and that is a conundrum that both Mason and Parker also face. The 32-year-old billionaire and the 8-year-old son of a poor single mom run into each other at a high-end jewelry store, each seeking the perfect gift for his beloved mother. Typical of a child, Parker is clueless about the cost of things. Without letting Parker know that the bill was more than $6, Mason facilitates the purchase of earrings Parker wants to get his Mom. Why? Simply because he is a really good guy and he remembers what it was like to go up for with his own single Mom.

Callie is stunned when she received the gift from Parker. She was a teenage mom when she gave birth to her son, and she’s works 2 jobs, struggling to make ends meet and give him a good life.  She tracks down the jewelry store and though there tracks down Mason so she can give him back the earrings.  The rest, as they say, is history. Or at least a beautiful love story. ❤

There is no bad guy in this story. Mason and Callie are both great people. Nobody needs to be saved … well, except Leo, but I’m not giving spoilers do you have to read the book to find out about that. There is some angst but it doesn’t go on for long. This really is a heartwarming story, with a hearty dose of steam and sprinkles of laughter throughout. It’s the kind of book that leaves you with a contented side and a smile  – perfect for the holiday season or any time at all.
