Come Down Under

My Review
Jude Hudson, the hero in this story, has a wonderfully multifaceted personality. The more we get to know about him, the more likable and impressive he is. Roselyn Joyce, interning at Hudson Technologies, is an extremely smart young woman who is at the top of her class in her doctoral program at Oxford University. Her devotion to her studies has yielded great results, which contributed to her being awarded the most exciting internship being offered by the prestigious University.
With his wild playboy image, and her super professional focus, it would seem that the pairing of Jude and Rose is going to be a disaster. But the chemistry between them takes them both by surprise. It is made hotter by their sincere mutual respect for one another’s intelligence. Neither of them is really what they project to the outside world. Both of them are trying very hard to do the ‘right thing’ and finding it very difficult to fight their rapidly developing relationship.
I thought this story was very well-written, with pacing that really kept me turning pages. The secondary characters were great, especially Jude’s mother and his young son. I thought the author did a really good job of balancing emotions in this book – It has laughter, tearful moments, angst, passion, fear, hope, and love. This book will leave you with a smile on your face!
